2 year update after salvage surgery
I am blessed to say that after having radiation therapy initially even though I had a bad feeling about it and having be used as a guinea pig only to find out that cribiform is radiation resistant which it is, and I will never let anyone tell me otherwise. I was fortunate enough to keep an eye on it have that damn cancer still contained to the prostate ..i was trying to be talked out of surgery my gut said don’t listen to them do the surgery. I found the greatest doctor whodid the surgery and I am still undetectable after two years with minor side effects. I still leak but who cares I go through one pad maybe two a day that’s life to me. It’s not that big a deal. I’m otherwise I feel great. Good luck to everybody out there. Trust your gut we are all different. If you’re thinking about salvage surgery Dr. Robert Reiter of UCLA is the best.
