Olfactory neuroblastoma
I was diagnosed with olfactory neuroblastoma and had my tumor removed in November of 2025..since then I have headaches at least 3 times a week..my next post surgical follow up is next week and I plan on discussing the headache issue…I am getting nervous…should I be or am I still recovering and these headaches are just par for the course? Also should I ask for some type of medication to help with the headaches?

Any surgery to the head can be accompanied by Head aches. They as well as All symptoms should be talked about with your care team immediately. Many just wait till the follow up which is unnecessary and even potentially dangerous. I call now no matter what,a nurse should be available to give you some real advice.
Have you not had a follow up MRI already?

i have not had my follow up scans yet and don’t know when they are gonna take place..luckily they didn’t find cancer anywhere else and my polyp was very isolated..on the right side on my sinus cavity…no tumors or polyps on the left side at all so I was very thankful for that..it’s just now that anytime that I feel pain there or get a headache, the paranoia sets in…I took your advice and called my surgeon today…thank you for that because I was gonna wait until my next follow up on 4/23..but I have to learn that when you are dealing with any kind of cancer, you can’t wait for anything

While just waiting for scan can appointments can just induce a great deal of anxiety, The relief you get from the knowledge it brings I find worth it. And there is absolutely no need to suffer in silence. Even if they say what you're feeling is normal it's not a burden to call them. And trust me they will go you the side eye if you keep things to yourself.
Good luck to you
