Not many of us around from back in the old days (years of 2009 to present). We've definitely lost a few along the way, but some of us are still kickin it, and doing well. Unfortunatley, I received an email that all of this history is going to be lost in a month or so as they're shutting down the forum.

That sure is a hard pill to swallow, even though I'm rarely on here anymore. Back in the day, when Greta was one of the CSN over lookers and Admin types. They (American Cancer Society) even flew myself, and 5 - 6 others up to Atlanta HQ for a mini think tank on how to make the site better.

It was an awesome gesture. This place was a moment in time that was a lifeline and safe place for many. No topic was off limits, no matter what you were going through, someone had already been there and was willing to share.

It's been great my friends, many of you will be in my heart forever, and as Tim says, you're in my pocket.

~John

Remember you well. Not sure you know my current alias, but perhaps you remember the Mississippi Mudcat? Live in the Quad Cities. Back in the day with Hondo, Delnative, Dawn, etc., this was a place for very real help in understanding what's going on because the C Med people were still experimenting with tx variations.

Remember you were against Feeding Tubes. Because of Rad damage to the upper 1/3 of my esophagus, I've been FT-dependent since 8/2019, but still alive in 4/2026. Take care, my friend, and reel in a big one for me.

    Hello Skiffin and Logan,

Yes, disappointing isn't the exact words I would want to use but it has been a great run on this site. It has helped many. Like Logan mentioned, reel in a big one for us. I remember P-51 would say she would keep us in her pocket as well. I am not sure what alternative we have, but a few Techie people in the Chatroom are trying to figure out what we can do to have a Chatroom somewhere. That is way above my pay grade so it is best handled by those that know what to do.

Good to see both of you. Take care of yourselves if we don't connect in the future.

My Best to You and Everyone Here
