Tiredness fatigue
I am into my third treatment for breast cancer stage 3 a. That is a revised from stage 4, different definitions. This round of care (1 week out of a every two week infusion) I am slammed. Was just laying around all day. Poor appetite. mild constipation although I am drinking lots of water.
Getting grief from my son (44) about not eating enough but I just cannot. Doing anything really is a chore. Today is a bit better but I have to go get labs today and will be taking myself. I'll be ok driving, it is the walking that takes me out, or standing up.
I know that the resting is for the good. Dishes are piling up. And other things, dirty floors because I have multiple critters and the place gets messy.
I have been drinking ensure, two yesterday, one this morning, and have a really chock full of goodness smoothie everymorning. Try to eat a lunch but can only eat a few mouth fulls then I just can't any more. I have a friend who suggests marijuana but I have never been a fan and not about to start now at 70. A friend who has stage 3 lung cancer texts with me daily, we share our sad states and good ones. He is going through the same thing, and is at about the same stage of treatment.
I guess this long drama is about saying what is going on to a group of people who have experienced it or are currently going through it. I know texting even bad news helps to share. And as one of my close texters says "millions of people have gone through this and they got through it" So will you and so will I. I shall quilt once again! and finish the fierce photomosaic starwars puzzles taking up space on my tables!
Best hopes and gains to you all
