Childhood Cancer Survivor Safety

I am a childhood cancer survivor from the 1960s seeking your support in addressing a critical public health issue: the destruction and loss of historical medical records for pediatric cancer survivors. Modern research shows that survivors treated with early radiation protocols face severe late‑onset complications, including vascular disease, bowel adhesions, and circulatory collapse. These conditions emerge from decades after treatment and cannot be understood without access to original records. When hospitals destroy or lose these records, survivors are left without the information necessary for safe medical care. I am asking for your assistance in ensuring federal agencies provide access to any surviving documentation so that survivors like me can receive appropriate care and avoid preventable harm.
