My husband has stage four appendix cancer. Going home on hospice, but have a question about TPN.

has anyone gone home on hospice and then successfully gotten their loved one on TPN. He has a partial small bowel obstruction. He is getting a venting G-tube and a tube to drain ascites.
He has lost 40 pounds since November. Nobody mentioned TPN into us at all.

basically they’re sending him home just to die

I don't have any experience with this, but I am so sorry you are going through this.

My mother was on TPN for about 2 months because she could no longer swallow. Please insist on it. They insert a pick-line into an arm for this. This is better than a feeding tube. What specific questions do you have?
