Low grade endometrial stromal sarcoma

Hi, I also was recently diagnosed with low grade endometrial sarcoma. It also spread to a lymphnode outside of my uterous. So it is considered stage 3. I am not starting my 4th week after a total abdominal hysterectomy. I have just started letrozole. Since I’m experiencing full on menopausal symptoms even though I am 50 it is hard and I am currently getting very little sleep. It has been emotionally tough. Although I feel like it is a low grade so I “should” feel better. Taking it day by day. I also had some very small nodes on my lungs that they are watching.

dianaq50, it is all so overwhelming so it is completely understandable to be emotional. Taking it day by day can also be hard, but it sounds like you are in the hands of some people with your best interest in mind.

Sometimes it is hard just finding others to chat with you who are going through it or having gone through it. Hugs dear. Hope some others can chime in.

(I saw where you added to an older thread, but since you started a new one I wanted to reply to the one you started)

Thank you for your response! It does help to talk about this experience, and I am eager to hear how others have coped with this.
