NRI tonsil adenoids in 1960’s I was shocked Radiation oncologist I have respect was not aware

I was flabbergasted the a highly skilled emphatic radiation oncologist was not aware of NRI being performed on children in 1940-1970’s!!
I called to see if he could determine if what I am experiencing today is related to NRI late effects !

One month later his nurse called me “ Dr A was shocked this was being used he thought they stopped this in 1930’s!! Yes he told me to tell you that your symptoms: nasal septum thinning, osteonecrosis, needing implants , bone, cardiac aorta damage , bone cervical thoracic spine , vascular disease since teens metabolic disease, years nasal non healing sore in nostrils since teens , dry mouth nose the benign Epiglottis tumor etc are contributing factors to late effects radiation!
I don’t get it well maybe I do my sister had same surgery but she is healthy has her teeth ! From what I read it was given no standardized dose and younger child the more damaging !
I am angry w oncologist who I have seen since 2018 not knowledgeable in this and they don’t care !
