Renal Cell Carcinoma lived 13 yrs

Good Day Folks and a big hello. Just joined today.Husband Chip transitioned July 2025 after 13 still good years of RCC. We felt we were the lucky ones to have caught it early. Fri Jan 23 2025 I was told I have a L kidney mass st the upper pole involving the calyx with mild hyponephrosis ( urine backup kidney swelling). Read cld spread more if involving urine collecting system and it is. Just sharing wld be pleased to hear from anyone and especially someone having similar situation. I’m heading to Moffitt in Tampa where all my husband’s miracles were performed by excellent care & doctors. Wishing you hope. Dee

    Update:

    I had an MRI after the CT that said very suspicious of cancer mass. The MRI said none of that, cyst and a adenoma. I took everything to Moffitt Cancer center to be sure. They said not cancer and will check it in 6 months.
