Who went Flat with no reconstruction
Hello all, I am a newbie, yes thank you, thank you..lol…So I just recently had a BM surgery on 11/4/25 and though I am still recovering, I would like to connect with the peeps who decided to go flat. Its a very big decision and I have mixed feelings about it and kinda need to talk to the people who have chosen this route. Have a great day all!!

Hi 👋 I also had a BMX done with no reconstruction because I just didn't want to be with implants that I would not have liked and I didn't want to risk extra complications with a risk of extra surgeries.
It's tough as ever as my parents are gone and I am like almost 49 years old and I am a Mom of 21 years old son who is going to college and almost done with his college year as he is going to be graduating in a year and half. Even though I am confident in my choice of being flat but it's still like a lot to get your body adapted to your new you but you are still physically you. You feel so self conscious and when I was like telling my son about my worries he was like so as you know the reason just don't worry about what they are going to possibly think because not many people are focused on your chest they are only aware of you as in who you are. Boobs are not what makes you be you but I was like oh he is with a lot of good points but it is still difficult because our bodies are newly different along with healing pain. I think that in the advice of some one said fake it until you make it be true. Like turning your mind into positive thoughts about your body even if you feel like the opposite and then in time you will not have a bad thought or feelings. Maybe in time once the newness will be like not so New but like not as much as a focus on it.
