Esophageal cancer — day-by-day journal during neoadjuvant chemo (FLOT + immunotherapy)
Hi all -
I’m currently being treated for distal esophageal cancer and am in the middle of neoadjuvant chemo-immunotherapy ahead of planned surgery.
I’m keeping a detailed, chronological journal throughout treatment — symptoms, energy levels, appetite, exercise, side effects, and the ups and downs that don’t always show up in summaries. I’m sharing it in case it helps others who are about to start treatment, or caregivers trying to understand what the day-to-day experience can actually look like.
I’m happy to share the link to my full treatment journal once I’m able (I can't yet post the link as I'm a new member), or by private message if that’s allowed.
Wishing the best to everyone here — patients and caregivers alike.
— Kevin
