How to minimize neuropathy
Please resend this out to every chat group you can I still suffer from neuropathy after my chemo treatments were finished 3 years ago and I jus read the other day to help minimize it you should keep your hands and feet wrapped in cold packs while they are juicing you at the hospital with your chemo meds if I only knew then you would think that the doctor or someone at the cancer center would make sure to not only tell you that but also supply the cold packs but no I was told nothing and now I suffer daily with my nerve damage in my hands and feet so I wanna let as many people know this so they don't have to suffer as much as I am again it is very sad and very shocking that the doctor or cancer clinic didn't supply me with cold packs during chemo injections and especially that they didn't even tell me please take note of this warning and advice you will definitely be happy you did as I it is a daily issue periodically throughout the day and if you can minimize it even a little it is definitely worth it

i finished my chemo a year ago. I used cold packs on my hands and feet. I am not using them any more, so if anyone wants a set, I am happy to send them to you. I also have various hats with hair and a wig (never worn). Reply if you want me to send them.
I think the cold packs may have helped with the neuropathy, although I still have some mild neuropathy. Did not use the head cold packs. My doctor said she did not think they did much.
