Anyone who has followed NewHere, these many years, will know that his fight was long and hard, but he gave it his all and then some.

What a blessing it was to be a part of his world, albeit online. He was a strength and motivation for me, as I continue to survive. I survive to honour NewHere, and all who have gone the way of the world because of this horrendous disease.

Rest easy, my friend.

    NewHere has helped many on this site to keep hoping and never give up. He was a very caring person even though he had so much to contend with. May he rest in peace.

    New was the genuine article. Brave, giving and always kind in his communication with everyone from the old timers with lot's of history to anyone here for the first time. I'll never forget him nor how terrific he was to me when I was at my most terrified and anxious, which was of course how he was with anyone.

    I'll remember his sense of humor and the laughter I was lucky enough to share with him, so terribly sad to see this news. He was about the toughest warrior too, so rest easy wonderful NewHere — you were loved and you'll be missed.

    I remember the first months I was here for my dad. How his journey inspired me and gave us all so much hope. Always a fighter, always hanging in there, always a supporter.

    Condolences to his family!
