Possible cancer recurrence
I was treated for stage 3 tonsillar cancer in 2014. I had radiation for six weeks and have been cancer-free since. I recently noticed sudden weight loss, so I went to my regular doctor and he scheduled me for 3 CT scans with contrast from head and neck down to the pelvis.
I feel confident that if cancer, it would be in the head and neck area; unless something else is the cause for the weight loss.
This site was a great source of information and support from folks going through the same ordeal when I was going through treatment 11 years ago.
I appreciate any input from those with similar experiences.
Thank you
Arman

Armana, there can be many reasons for weight loss besides cancer.
Have you had any blood tests done?
Just remember it's not cancer till they say it's cancer.
I pray that you can find the reason for your weight loss, and especially that there is no cancer.
Please keep us updated.
Wishing You The Best
Take Care, God Bless
