Why does a prostrate cancer get more awareness like breast cancer?

as we all know this is breast cancer awareness month ..my work is having all kinds of events to raise money. You see commercials for breast Cancer ..it is not good and I know it affects women at alot younger age than it does for men, but I still think it’s wrong that BC gets all the attention. In the United States in 2025 316 000 women will be diagnosed with breast cancer and we’re not far behind at 313,000. What can we do to make October breast cancer/prostrate cancer awareness month? Why not it would be perfect

That would be No Shave November. for example…

All the Uros at my hospital did it. Big fund raising drive too.

Prostate Cancer Awareness Month was September. There were some events around here, including a day at the MLB ballpark. But let's face it, it's hard to compete with breasts in the public eye. Breasts are right up front literally and figuratively, whereas most people I've talked to only have a vague idea what the prostate is and what it does. It has an image as an old man's disease, somewhere unpleasant to picture.
