For those with an ostomy because of cancer (like me), you may want to also join meetanostomate.org. I think this site has been mentioned on this site before but its been several years.
Like this site, people with ostomies (for any number of reasons) share advise, encouragement.
Having recently joined both sites, I have found both to be very beneficial.
