Are there others in this community who are living with vulvar cancer?

yes, I am. Diagnosed in January 2023. Went through 36 radiation treatments and 3 chemo treatments. Last pet scan showed no cancer however I have radiation proctitis which is bleeding from my rectum. Going to see a colon rectal surgeon next month.

I have just been diagnosed with Extramammary Pagent’s Disease of the vulva, which is the rarest of the vulvar cancers. This is all so new to me. Just met with gynecological oncologist yesterday and had nine biopsies to map where the cancer is and isn’t prior to surgery. Still recovering today and in shock about diagnosis.

I realize what you’re going through, but hang in there. I could not have surgery. So far the cancer is gone however I still have the radiation proctitis. I have a checkup next month and a pet scan so hopefully the cancer is gone.
