Cervical cancer
I’m just wondering how many others are out there that had normal paps only to find cervical cancer later. I had Pap test every year that came back negative but after having a hysterectomy it was found I had Stage 1B2 cervical cancer and now undergoing radiation. Looking back I had symptoms such as post menopausal bleeding and a discharge my gynecologist was concerned about but after having an ablation and blood tests everything negative. Needless to say my Dr and myself were shocked and now I question these labs. I think it was there for more than a year because by the time of my surgery my cervix was fully infiltrated with cancer. I was never given recommendations on changing diet with radiation instructions which definitely would’ve been helpful because now I’m nauseous all the time, have diarrhea (sometimes bad) and am now off to store to buy foods that won’t exacerbate these problems. I read on these site many people recommend taking probiotics so I will be picking that up as well. Thanks for all suggestions. It took awhile for me to come to what this was real.
