Update to earlier post "Looking for Honest Post-Surgery ED Feedback...."
Hello men who might want an update to my earlier post….
so I was disheartened at the slow pace of progress for someone who checked all the boxes for a healthy (and I thought), speedy recovery for Davinci-assisted Nerve Sparing Radical Prostatectomy….my previous post asked others to be honest in their outcome/progress…. I appreciate hearing some honest disappointing results….
It's not all rainbows and unicorns and 15 months out I have not had intercourse, though I have fooled around and gotten 2/3-3/4 hard, enough to have orgasms with partners or myself…. the update is that 1) whether it helps or not I take cialis daily…honestly whether I take it or not doesn't seem to make a difference in frequency or firmness of my erections…i.e. sometimes they simply dont happen when they should…that said, when it does happen, 2) I seem to be able to expect an erection at roughly 3/4 of where I was pre-surgery…that would appear to be enough to have vaginal intercourse, though it hasn't happened yet…. that said, 3) I am likely 1/2"-1" smaller than I used to be…that could be because I am not fully firm yet…but…I am noticeably smaller right now…hoping to claw back at least another 1/2" if I can get back to 100%….4) orgasms are just as pleasurable with or without a firm erection but it's still very nice at 3/4 firmness…. 5) I continue to leak a little urine if I drink alot of liquid in the day - and by alot I mean a normal amount of liquid for meals and coffee, which I admittedly drink too much of…. 6) urine doesn't 'usually' come out during orgasm, but…a small trace amount seems to find its way out somewhere along the process
BOTTOM LINE: I believe at 15 months I might be able to have vaginal intercourse….I'm somewhat smaller but likely because haven't returned to 100% firmness yet…I would say I am at 3/4 regularly now when it happens (which is not always guaranteed)….so…it has been a painfully SLOW recovery but….my body is trying… I am maintaining a positive attitude… subconsciously it may be helping….? good luck to all of you! be patient…
(I will give another update at 17-18 months post surgery ….will hope to have good news…)
