Neutropenia - long lasting
Comments

In a clinical trial about 2017, I received a single infusion of Arzerra (Ofatumumab) which is supposedly an order of magnitude more potent against CD20 (B-lymphocytes) than Rituxan. Years later - years - I was still B-Cell depleted. My absolute lymphocyte count remains about half of the low end of the range. I take no notice of it. I pay my hematologist to worry for me.

Many chemo patients become and remain neutropenic throughout their entire treatment period. I did. A few days after my first infusion of R-ABDV, I was admitted to the hospital for three days with it. Neutropenia is easily controlled via the drug Neulasta, and perhaps a few others. I will say that it is pricy, and insurance coverage varies, or at least did in 2010….
