Rare cancers

I’m searching for someone with a similar experience and looking for outcomes or impact on children due to any genetic components. Has anyone had two DIFFERENT primary breast cancers at the same time? I’m 37, diagnosed with invasive mucinous adenocarcinoma in my right breast and invasive ductal carcinoma with micrometastic disease in the lymph node. I’ve heard of people having bilateral breast cancer, but it’s the same kind of cancer, not two different primaries at once. Is there anyone out there like me? I did genetic testing and no genetic mutation was identified. Any ideas? I have three daughters.

i am 57 and was diagnosed 2 years ago. I am still receiving treatment for two different types of breast cancer. I have an aggressive triple negative cancer on my left and a slower growing her2 positive on the right. It has spread to my lungs, ribs, spine and skin. Maybe more I can’t remember right now. I felt compelled to respond to your post since we are having issues treating my cancer since some treatments work for one then allow the other to grow. I have had genetic testing done which came back negative.

I am sorry that you are going through this. I have 2 daughters as well. My aunt had a double mastectomy some years back.

The treatment I have been on isn’t working as a new tumor has grown like crazy in past few weeks and the cancer is returning back on top of my skin again. It will be interesting to see what the new treatment(s) will be.

I have had 47 rounds of chemo and have tried hormone therapy in past. Also have PIK3CA mutation.

If you have any questions, please ask I will help as best I can.
