Alcohol Consumption after Cancer Treatment
Hello, I am a cancer survivor, I had a large tumor on the rear of my tongue and 7 weeks of aggressive radiation and chemo. I just passed my 5 year treatment anniversary and thankfully healthy. Has anyone heard anything about the effects of drinking alcohol after treatment? I'm not a big drinker but I can no longer feel the effects of alcohol. I get no buzz at all, but the next morning my body can feel the effects of drinking. I know this is so minor compared to the diagnosis and treatment but I'm trying to research.

Sorry, but I going to suggest correlated with age rather than cancer treatment. I'm at year 9 post, and my alcohol intake has moved inversely with age, EXCEPT, I don't count wine with meals. I'm in my 70s now, definately not drinking like I did when I was younger.
And my recovery has been continuous. My saliva and taste still change. Problem is I can't tell which is treatment (35 IMRT/5 Carbol), and which is age ~73.
