Fissure after biopsy
Hi! New to this site, please bare w me...
I got diagnosed 2022 w squamous cell approx 2" in the anal canal. Finished treatment 12/22. Had port taken out along w final 6 mon biopsy. 2 weeks later, in debilitating pain, had to go back out on disability. I go to all my docs. They went to go back in for botox. They do a fissurectomy...didn't kno I had a fissure...and botox. Eased up the pain. But now in 2025 it still bothers me. Im a receptionist and sitting 40 hrs a week. No good! They want me to try Hyperbaric oxygen therapy. However I will be missing a lot of work and cannot financially afford to. It's quite a commitment 6 weeks 5 days a week for 2 hours a day. So I went for a second opinion to a different colorectal surgeon as I feel it odd that right after the biopsy I suddenly have a fissure.?? Anyway going for Botox next Thursday to try that again with a different doctor. I wish there was a way that I can prove if the fissure came from the biopsy procedure
