Asymmetrical fullness of the right lingual tonsil with effacement of the right vallecula

I am sorry in advance for being a pain I am just worried. CT scan showed Asymmetrical fullness of the right lingual tonsil with effacement of the right vallecula. PCP sent me to ENT. ENT says TMJ and reflux. I have had ear, throat and neck pain and swelling on the left side for over 3 months. Occasionally my lymph nodes and neck on the left swell. ENT put scope down my throat, said no lesions and said you are fine. Gave me prednisone for tmj and Pepcid to add to omeprazole that I already take. He said my throat is irritated and inflamed. I am scheduling a second opinion, but here is my question, did anyone have cancer in your lingual tonsils that was caught without visible lesion via laryngoscope?
