Journey and what next
Hi there,
I'm 41 years old and in October 2024 I'm diagnosed stage 4 anal cancer and liver and anterior lower abdomen wall metastesis. At first, I almost got chemoradiation but after found out that it has spread so the treatment has changed. I got 6 chemo (Paclitaxel/ Carboplatin) and testing PET scan soon (now 4 weeks past). However, the tumor at the anus is still there and getting bigger and I fear to know the result of pet scan. I hope to get chemoradiation soon because the tumor start to have its peaks and bigger at the anus. I'm having trouble with defecation. Luckily, during chemos I had trouble the 7 day crisis after chemo only and no major side effects than fatique and nausea. For those who has radiation already, is it bad? How to poop when it's burnt and rashed, and do you have a stoma. Appreciate your advices. 👏🏻

Based on the date, you should be well into your radiation and I hope all is well. If you have not experienced the burns yet, you should be applying the burn creams as often as you can. Everything else is just dependent on you- I did little activity and rested.
