was diagnosed with Stage 1, grade 2 er+, her2+ breast cancer. No lymph node involvement. Very small. Lumpectomy, 16 rounds of radiation, currently doing immunotherapy (session 9 of 18)and on Letrozole. My reason for being nervous…..although protocol called for me to do chemo, my oncologist felt I would be a good candidate for a Dana farber trial, hence the no chemo. Obviously, I’m happy about that, but still worried. My doctor felt like they didn’t want to over-treat me. Anyone else been in this same situation?

I am in the very same boat and just sent a message, via portal, regarding the chemo. Sounds like we are on the very same case study. I am having round 7 infusion next week. Had lumpectomy in May, 17 radiation sessions, PHESGO infusions every 3 weeks, and started on letrozole. As I have been reading up on the use of PHESGO, I keep reading how its used in conjunction with chemo, and like you, I was able to opt out of the chemo, which made me happy at the time, now I’m scared I made the wrong choice. This has been a living hell, and I can’t seem to grasp the fact that I have zero control over how this plays out. My life is in their hands, Dana-Farber, as well as GOD’S, and I’m truly petrified.
