can anybody give me advice? I had my 4th folfox chemo and had breathing issues. I feel like my Dr does not take this seriously, we will see…I was admitted, and they did many tests and said I was ok.

I told my lung Dr and she bumped up my asthma inhaler, she dsaid I will not step on your cancer Dr feet, I let him see if it is the chemo.

Braftovi is what he now wants to add on also. I looked up the side effects, holly cow…

ANYBODY TOOK THIS STUFF?

Folfox is a quite harsh regime as it has oxaliplatin and you should expect multiple serious side effects. I had to stop folfox halfway and switch to folfirinox due to horrible tinnitus. The thing is ototoxicity is not a primary side effect of oxaliplatin and some refuse to consider its ototoxicity.

You may experience what is called an “idiosyncratic drug reaction” as I did. These are very rare side effects that are often not statistically measurable. Do some research, collect data, talk to other patient and doctors and then ask/insists your oncologist to reevaluate.
