Post Week Updates

post Week 1 completed
For recap, during the weekend between treatment 34 & 35 I had some alcohol on Friday and ate baby back rib meal. I ate whatever my wife cooked for meals Saturday and Sunday I went back to my chicken and rice diet Monday morning 🚜😎🚜
I was fine Friday and Saturday. However, starting Sunday morning at 1030a until Wednesday morning around same time I had diarrhea with a total of 41 visits to the toilet 😜🤣😳
Thursday was a normal BM day (squeezing toothpaste from a tube). Friday through Sunday was a mixture of above
It’s Monday at 552a and I just had a “normal” BM 🎉🎉🎉
No issues with leakage from either exit. Do kagels when I can remember
My plan is to stay on the treatment diet for 4 weeks post and try to introduce my regular food a little at a time 🤓
Still get fatigue and run out of gas around 2p or so. But, I have been able to complete my farm chores. Mowing 9 acres, chickens, honey bees, and of course honey dos
My wife has been very supportive. Sometimes too much (mother hen) 🥰.
Hope you all had a GREAT weekend and will have an awesome week 🚜🚜🚜

Hi,
Good you are working through the side effects, keep doing the kagels and you might want to investigate some pelvic floor exercises. I mow about 5 acres, got the John Deere 1025R ready but it’s too wet here in Northeast Ohio to mow. Keep on fightin👍………..

Will do. Thanks. I’ll check out the pelvic floor exercises. I’ll be starting back up on my Bowflex exercises next week
I have a commercial Hustler X-One. Great mower

Submariner682,
So glad you track this! Thank you, as this is so helpful. Doctors and staff do NOT provide advance warning for this, and in any form. All of your real world encountered situations shared here are so helpful, in so many ways.
Unfortunately the medical professionals do not see this as essential. It is hard for us to accept, the reality is that it is now our way of life. Keep your thoughts going here. Thank you!

Just sharing the wealth
Agree that you don’t get much from the doctors
Here’s what I’m finding on “reintroducing” my old favorite foods to my diet: I am trying things in the morning so that any adverse reactions will happen before noon and not affect my entire day
What I’m noticing is that if my stomach growls a lot with new entre, I will be in bathroom 2 or 3 times before noon
I still find myself getting weak/dizzy when I over exert myself. But, if I rest a few minutes I carry work through it. “No pain no gain”
Today I have scheduled netting our blueberry bushes and changing the 6 blades on my two 60” Hustler zero turns
All for now Any plz feel free to ask whatever questions you have about my particular journey 20 yrs in navy - I have no boundaries 🚜😎🚜
