My Journey

I started by donating my lett Kisney to Kidney Cancer in 2002. Naturaly my Uro followed my Prostate each following year. MY psa TOOK A BIG JUMP FROM 2018 TO 2019 and a Biopsy was a Gleeson 8 (9 after surgery.) I saw Dr Patel in Orlando for my robotitic Prostectomy. I have 6 and 1/2 years undetectable PSA. 3 months later I went to the er with a stomach ache and had my GB out the next day on NYE. Since then a few more aches aand pains including a heart stent last year And low stage 3 Chronic kidney Disease. I have been checing with Dr. Google about any chance of recurrance from my Prostate Cancer. I will be 82 in 3 months. Any thoughts on this from the group.

Hi,
Sounds like your keeping up the fight through your medical problems and surviving at 81 yrs. Six years out and undetectable, thats great. Keep on monitoring your PSA, that’s your key indicator for reoccurrence. I’m out almost 11 years after my Prostate removal but don’t consider myself cured but in remission. Keep on enjoying life……….
