TNBC identified .Any suggestions?
Hello Everyone,
I am writing on behalf of my mom (Age 61)who has just been diagnosed with breast cancer . Right breast .BCS Surgery has been performed and today I received final biopsy report which states :
Invasive breast caricoma , NST . Grade II (7/9)
TNBC
ptNM stage - pT2 N0(sn)
4 lymph node free identified and all free of tumor.
No metastasis
I am just worried about TNBC in the report . I understand chemo will be next step but does anyone know effective it will be in the long run ??
Worst part is that she never had any symptoms of breast cancer .This was identified as a part of other treatment.

It is frightening. Thank goodness in my view the worst part is over. I had bi-lateral mastectomies and was also symptom free. I was 49 years old. I am now 67 and had my implants replaced last year, they had burst at some unknown point. The fact that lymph node free, and all free of tumor is excellent. no metastasis is excellent. There are never guarantees. But it sounds as if she is getting excellent treatment, I would remain positive and feel fortunate! 🙏
