CA125 high after 13 years of being fine.
Been cancer free for 13 years and even when I had cancer my CA125 never went over 10. Just had a lab test done and now it is 41 and I am scared. Had complete hysterectomy in 2009.Waiting on dr to get with me to find out if he wants any scans done. Have been extra tired lately and now my brain is racing trying to examine every little symptom wondering if I brushed off something that was a sign of cancer.

Almost the same here. I was diagnosed with stage 3 in 2019, complete hysterectomy, chemo and immune therapy then cancer free for 5 years. My ca 125 has always hovered around 7-8.6. Checkup in January and it jumped to 17. Even though that is within normal range it still concerned my doctor, so i had my 1st CT scan on January 27th. I have horrible acid reflux and noticed my stomach seems bloated. The CT scan lit my abdominal wall up. Cancer is coming back. I go today March 24th, for my 2nd CT and more bloodwork. Only symptoms are my acid reflux and feeling bloated. I have noticed in the last few weeks I'm feeling a lot more fatigued similar to how I felt before my first diagnosis.

Sorry to hear, about that bloating - Did you have ascites?

Hi Adelissa and Akane 75, I hope this finds you well. The best piece of advice I can give you is learn to read your lab results and imaging. Your oncologist sees a lot of patients and can't possibly remember your labs and scans. They only remember you when you call them for an appointment. And even then they’ll have to go back and re-review the notes from the last visit. If you’re symptomatic and your CA125 confirms that, you make sure you have their full attention. Ask about PET Scan for your entire body. After the surgery, I had it every 3 months when my CA125 was slightly high then I went down to every 6 months as the CA125 went down.
On nutrition, make sure you incorporate the green drink. There is a drink I used to take called Miracle Green, take that every other day if not everyday if you’re not going through chemo. It will boost your immunity.
I hope this helps both of you. All my best—
