Ampullary Cancer how should I feel?

I was diagnosed in Nov of 2024. I had no appetite at all losing 15lbs. In early January they opened my bile duct with a stent. Right now I feel great as if I didn’t have cancer I feel that good. Is this normal? Am I just waiting for the shoe to drop? Do I feel this good because my bile duct was opened up? I’m having a CT scan this Wednesday and that hopefully will tell me what is going on.

  • I was just diagnosed with this in November. My diagnosis came about bc I had to go to the hospital for my gastroparesis. Once I had stent put in I immediately felt better. I had ERCP with spyglass and will get further results as to stage and if it has spread. I am currently looking at the Whipple surgery. Hopefully you can get answers.
