colon cancer met to sacrum

Hi I had a resection 2.5 years ago after dr. found a 5cm tumor with no lymph node involvement. everything was going ok until 5 months ago when i started having a nagging sacral/coccyx pain. I thought i just pulled a muscle or strained it.

my doctor just told me it might be mets?! I am getting an MRI soon.

I just can't find any literature about it? How does it feel? Am i supposed to feel a tumor? Maybe it's just that I pulled something? My GI says too rare but will get another colonoscopy to rule out reoccurrence of colon cancer.

I can't sit for long and painful when sitting up. Seems like it would be worse if it was mets. Maybe I am in denial or maybe doctors are being overcautious?! I just hope someone can share their experience or resources.

Ivh
