Chemo/immunotherapy

I have uterine cancer, stage 3c and am soon starting chemo and immunotherapy. Wondering if anyone has had these concurrently and if there is anything I should be asking prior to starting treatments.

My hysterectomy was Dec. 3 and was hospitalized twice - once for excessive bleeding and another for an infection. So I will likely start treatments after another couple weeks (late Jan/early Feb).

Hey HollyJArmstrong, I'm sorry to hear what you have been going through. I am sure it is worrisome, but I hope they have it under control.

I believe there are women undergoing both of those treatments here, and the standard of care has changed to include immunotherapy drugs now as a primary treatment. I would suggest doing a search on the page with the name of your immunotherapy drug and some things might pop up.

It has been quiet here, but there are a few regulars who check in. We are not all in active treatment, and some are incredible resources (!!!) so I hope they see your post as well.
