People survive from many types of cancer. The five year survival rates for leukemia are 65% in general in the US (per Roswell Park Cancer Center website) but a lot would change due to age, stage and aggressiveness of the cancer as well as the quality of treatment and nutrition.

I was diagnosed in March of 2023 I spent 4 months in the hospital doing aggressive chemotherapy and then one week a month for 5 months after that and I have been on a chemo pill for one year and 3 months and I have 8 months to go I am in full remission I did not do the bone marrow transplant I had a better chance doing it this way but the only way to survive it is be strong don't let it get you down and go day by day cancer doesn't really change anything we're all going to die we don't know when where or why and the same thing with cancer we're still going to die but we don't know when or were.. some people say it sounds harsh but it's just the realities of life just fight one day at a time
