After all testing was complete I had the choice of surgery or radiation, I chose radiation. My  urologist started me on Orgovyx. I have been on the pill for about a week and now I am having strong hot flashes, does anyone any any tricks to cope ? It wakes me up for hours and I also have bone pain. If anyone has any info on is this the normal now or are there any thing I can do to help and get some sleep?

My Medical Oncologist prescribed Venlafaxine 75mg twice per day, and it has reduced the severity of my hot flashes.

I was on Orgovyx last year for recurrent PC. I did not have hot flashes for about a month and not bad. I started Fennel Tea before taking the first pill and it helped greatly. good luck

Yes, I concur for the Fennel tea. Apart from the relief on hot flushes it helps in the digestion period promoting a good night sleep 😴.

Well, the hormonal treatment has many side effects attached to it. They come but they also go. Hopefully you recover to a more acceptable quality of life.
