I was diagnosed with metastatic melanoma brain and lungs. The tumor on my brain turned out to be 6cm or around 2.5 in. I am a SURVIVOR. Immunotherapy and radiation was my regimen. I am a blessed man and would love to share my cancer journey with you.

I first received 5 treatments of radiation at the site of the extraction. Then I was receiving immunotherapy for 1 year. Hard to remember but I think it was every three weeks? Possibly 4 weeks. We went to Vanderbilt Ingram cancer center, Nashville TN. At first I was receiving 2 immunotherapy drugs. It was an "aggressive" treatment plan. I believe the last drug was, Opdivo. I didn't follow any dietary restrictions or regimen as no one suggested it. I lost 20 lbs after the surgery so I ate with the goal of gaining weight. I gained back the 20lbs and more.

Where are you in your journey?
