Ultrasound and PetScan

I am feeling defeated today. Friday I had a pelvic ultrasound and the radiologist reported the wrong information on my report. I had a pelvic ultrasound and they reported about my breast. Now, I have asked my oncologist to do another order to an outside company to do another ultrasound and he will not do it. He wants me to a PetScan in the same hospital that read my results wrong or mixed up my records with someone else. He says its in my best interest to get a petscan in the same hospital that messed up and will not order a PerScan at a larger hospital at my request. He said i can get another dr to order my ultrasound. Does that seem right? I have never questioned the oncologist care and I have been happy until this point. This ultra sound was just supposed to make sure lymph nodes were okay after treatment. Now i do not know if they are okay or not because the ultrasound is wrong. Any suggestions?

I would check with your insurance company to find out if you can have these scans done at another facility. I don't think the oncologist should be locking you into having scans done at just this location.
