please interpret my ct scan results

hello all,

i'm a 50-year-old male and would appreciate it if someone could help interpret my ct scan results. thanks so much for your time and help.

Impression

1. Indeterminate complex exophytic lesion in the lower pole of the right kidney. Recommend renal protocol MRI for further characterization.

2. Punctate calculus in the lower pole of the right kidney.

3. Uncomplicated cholelithiasis.NarrativeEXAM: CT ABDOMEN PELVIS WO IV CONTRAST

CLINICAL INDICATION: gross hematuria

TECHNIQUE: Noncontrast images were obtained through the abdomen and pelvis. ESRC.1.7.2

COMPARISON: None.

FINDINGS:

Lower Thorax: Normal.

Liver: Normal.

Gallbladder/Biliary Tree: Calcified gallstones without acute cholecystitis.

Spleen: Normal.

Pancreas: Normal.

Adrenal Glands: Normal.

Kidneys/Ureters: No hydronephrosis in either kidney. Punctate calculus in the lower pole of the right kidney (2:33). Simple cortical cysts in the left kidney (602:94). Complex exophytic lesion in the lower pole of the right kidney with discontiguous wall calcifications and internal Hounsfield units up to 40 (2:36).

Gastrointestinal: No bowel obstruction.

Bladder: Decompressed. No bladder calculi.

Prostate/Seminal Vesicles: Limited evaluation of the prostate and seminal vesicles on CT. A few radiodense markers in the prostate gland.

Lymph Nodes: Normal.

Vessels: No abdominal aorta aneurysm.

Peritoneum/Retroperitoneum: Normal.

Bones/Soft Tissues: No aggressive osseous lesions.

    Unfortunately we are not radiologists and can not interpret CT results, it would be irresponsible from our side.

    But it is clear that you need an urologists consultation regarding complex kidney lesion. It could be malignant or benign, and the professional consultation should be arranged. Please do not ignore this, get it checked out.
