Abnormal path report-skin biopsy
hello I am wondering if anyone has any insight… my son had a skin biopsy from his arm (non itchy bumpy area under skin). Initial report says “ebv positive with t/nk cell proliferation”. They are sending it for further testing. He has no other symptoms but I’m just very very worried about this. Thank you

Sorry to hear of this. While there is cause for concern, it is up to a pathologist to determine if this is possibly a non-cancerous lympho-proliferative condition, in which the immune system over-produced s lymphocytes, or whether it is some form of malignancy. Until then, it is a lot of waiting.
