increase in PSA post seeding

Hi,
To me it sounds like your cancer has returned. If you are in good health and don’t have other severe medical problems check with your doctor team and see what they recommend. I would think a biopsy should help determine the aggressiveness of the cancer. Could be as easy as some form of radiation(Proton, Cyberknife, ect.) or you could choose to do nothing depending on the location and size of the cancer. Could take some years before the cancer grows enough to give you real quality of life issues.

I doubt that radiation is an option because vmi59 has undergone 'seeding' which I interpret to mean brachytherapy. More in general, a general rule' is that one waits with treatment after radiation until PSA is at least nadir (0.5 in this case) plus 2.
Perhaps a PSMA scan is warranted, but at age 87? Good to discuss this with a radiation oncologist.
