Hi all, So I have started neoadjuntive chemo. almost to the day (5) one year later after I started chemo/rt for another cancer. I was starting to feel good planning trips and then I felt a swollen lymp in my armpit. tests and pts and mris 3 bx ect. I have hr+ Her2 - stage 3a agrresive breast cancer. I am doing TC x4 then surgery rt and then hormone treatment is the plan the doctor laid out. If you went this route? How well did it work? I am not sure to go with a lumpectomy in the one breast or full removel of both. Mostly concern about reacurrence . Although it says low chance. It happens. And seems to happen in other parts of the body? Also has anyone added Hormone thearpy to neotreatment. I have read that the synergize could help the chemo to get all of cells unknow. But I don't know if my doctor will precribe. Or what is the least side effects with best drug? Oh sorry so many questions. and as many emotions. I am 64. I am praying and thinking about all of you out there also. STRONGTOGETHER!
