Hair not growing back after Cold Capping
I cold capped and managed to keep about half my hair, but 12+ weeks after finishing chemo, I'm not noticing any new growth. I'm worried the cold cap permanently damaged my follicles. Has anyone experienced slow growth after cold capping and/or permanent hair loss?

It's more than likely not the cold cap, but rather the chemo drugs you were on. Taxotere, aka docetaxel, is notorious for this. Cold capping prevents damage to the hair follicles. Sadly Taxotere can cause permanent hair loss. If you were on this chemo drug your Oncologist should have told you about this. Talk with your Oncologist about your hair not regrowing and get it documented in your medical records. There are lawsuits against Sanofi on this damage. You need it documented.

Thanks, but I wasn't on that drug. I'm looking for stories from other women who's hair took a long time to grow back after cold capping. What did you do to help it along?
