I had the same thing when taking Lupron. Had to resort to physical therapy because of knee, hip and neck pain. Therapist said it was due to losing muscle mass - causing the joints to "weaken." As I type I still have hand and finger stiffness and pain. I had my last Lupron shot last October.
It may help kill the cancer but I skipped my third scheduled 6 month Lupron shot last April due to the nasty side effects.
I'm 77 and my testosterone has not recovered. I was told it may not recover or it may take YEARS to recover. I'm thankful that my PSA has remained undetectable since I finished radiation in June of 2023 but I sure wish there were less troubling treatments available. Lupron changed my life.
Now the docs are talking testosterone replacement therapy. Researching that I learned there are another list of undesirable side effect…
