My 62 yr old sister was just diagnosed with T4b rectal cancer by Mayo Clinic in MN. We will meet with her team next Wed. to discuss treatment plan, etc. It felt like the life was sucked out of us with the MRI report. We don't know what to expect, what questions to ask, or anything else. We are overwhelmed & in shock right now. She lives in Minnesota, so Mayo felt like the right place to go, but knowing she might only have one chance to get it right, I would also appreciate feedback on where you have been successfully treated for rectal cancer. Thank you in advance for your replies!
