Trying to be a caregiver

My wife of 3 years has been diagnosed with liver cancer, she is 67 years old and I am 70 years old, I don't know how to be a caregiver/ husband, my wife is, and has been spoiled for over 60 years, I don't know what I have to do, give in to her pity or be supportive but not allow her to be manipulative.
