My Dad, 79yo has had Myelodysplastic Syndrome del 5q for a little under 2 years now. 3 weeks ago, he was diagnosed with stage 1b Pancreatic Adenocarcinoma. He cannot have chemo, but they did approve him to still have a Whipple Surgery. I am very concerned with the risk of cell spread during surgery. Does anyone have any experience with this? Is there any alternative treatment to Chemo after surgery?
