Good Morning CSN Family,
Just wanted to share hope and inspiration to anyone just starting this journey.
Brief History: Surgery March 20,2002. Stage3C Rectal Cancer, 10 out 14 positive lymph nodes.
Treatment: Chemo & Radiation.
At the time my young son was 10 years old, today he is a 32 year old school teacher. I have been blessed.

Congratulations!!!
Your good news is a huge motivation to me and others. I'm looking to live more than 20 years.
I'm 53 years old, diagnosed with rectal cancer, stage 3B in 2022. Went thru the first 12 chemo treatments but the cancer came back 6 months later. Had 2nd big surgery and learned it did metastases to the external colon wall. I then had another 18 chemo treatments and recently the oncologist has switched the treatment to maintenance phase, taking orally medications. It seems the cancer is being controlled.
Could you please share, what you have done after done with treatments such as diet, lifestyle, exercise …etc. Thanks.
