I agree veecat, as far as feeding tubes go we usually don't want them any longer than we need them.
I know and relate to what you are saying when you get to eat the first food when you were on the tube for a while what ever food or drink it is the taste is so fantastic, and like you I remember it was so good. And for me also that first cup of coffee and to sip and savor the flavor was fantastic. Thanks for your input.
