Helping my mom find a wig

Hi all! My mom has stage 4 lung cancer and had her first chemo treatment yesterday. I’m going down to see her in FL for her next treatment in March. She said she will probably lose her hair by then and wants to go wig shopping. I’ve heard there are places to go for free or discounted wigs. Does anyone know anything about this? There is an American Cancer Society office near her in Ft. Lauderdale. Thanks in advance!

Check with a local cancer clinics oncology department. Here in Marshfield, WI they have a whole room that patients can get free wigs that are either new or cleaned and restyled. My wife opted for scarves and a winter hat.
